Our Story

My name is Kelley Shaw, originally from Southern Illinois, I moved down to the Murray, KY area to go to college and enjoyed the area so much, I couldn’t leave.  I still have family that lives in the Southern Illinois region and many friends as well.  One of them introduced me to the most annoying man, I’ve ever met, my Husband.  Don’t worry, he says that I’m the most annoying person he’s ever met too, but he likes it.  We’ve been together for 3 years now and It’s a blessed journey thus far.  We have dogs and cats of our own as well as some horses and a potbelly pig on our little corner of the world

I enjoy working with all animals, from the Small to the Large and everything in between.  I received my Certification for dog training from Animal Behavioral College in 2019 and have since started in Grooming and Animal Nutrition classes to learn more about how to better care for animals, improve their quality of life and hopefully in doing so, make your lives together, that much more enjoyable.

My goal is to teach both you and your animals how to be understanding of each other’s needs and wants and help you to train your animals at home.  We hope to give you the tools and knowledge to make your time together with a more enjoyable and comforting experience for both parties.

I do this by teaching you how to safely and correctly tell your dog what the boundaries are and what does and does not work.  This starts with basic obedience up to service dog training, if that is the goal.  I work with you to know when to reward when to reprimand when to reinforce a behavior versus correct it.  By teaching both you and your dog, we hope to reinforce your bond and encourage a good relationship for you both.
